BASF integrated high-purity graphite into a stable polymer matrix.
BASF integrated high-purity graphite into a stable polymer matrix. The graphite reflects and absorbs radiant heat energy. This slows the rate of heat transfer through the material, thereby increasing the material’s insulation performance. Silver-grey Class III vapor-permeable Neopor rigid thermal insulation has a stable R-value of up to 4.6 per inch at 75F. The foam is available in the US and Canada in virtually any shape and in thicknesses from 1/16” to 48”.
